Brief Description: Center Section - Strategize for screwing floor ins
I’ve decided to screw both the seat and baggage floors to the center section instead of pop rivets. I clocoed together as much as I could to help visualize what to do. Also studied the plans quite extensively. Lots of things need to be considered. Things to consider are - 1.) All screws will be #8. I will not use #6 screws. 2.) Which holes will be flush and which will be pan head. They can’t all be flush. 3.) Which platenuts will be left off until later because the installed platenut could interfere with riveting skins and other parts. You can’t install all platenuts up front. 4.) Dealing with the center where the flap stuff goes. Significant Modification in this area. I have a plan. 5.) Dealing with the join between the center section aft end and the aft fuselage forward end. Modifications in this area. I have a plan.
