6 baggage ribs need the same preparation as the seat ribs. The ribs are F-725, 726 and 727’s. Again I deburred the edges including the teeth first thing. These ribs don’t have the same about of curve in the web so they don’t need as much fluting. I only fluted the bottom aft end of the 725 and 726’s. The center 727’s are not curved thus don’t need fluting. Check it out and site down the bottom flange looking at the row of rivet holes along the bottom of the ribs.
None of the flanges are 90 degrees on these baggage ribs. Again I used my automatic 90 degree flange bending tool. This thing does work well in 2 ways. First, It makes nice consistent 90 degree bends and second, its brainless to use.
The bottom of the baggage section is not flat thus the bottom rib flanges need to be slightly greater then 90 degrees.
