Brief Description: Fabricate shim forward of tail cone.
Image one shows a space between the aft side skin and J stiffener just forward of the 710 bulkhead and tail cone. The skin makes a jump outward over the thick tail cone making this space. A rivet is set between the skin and J stiffener right at this gap. I'm concerned that after setting the rivet you will have a noticable jog in the skin.
So, I made these small shims to fill the gab, one for each side. I think I used 0.03 aluminum sheet for this.
