A few weeks back a friend Bob showed me how to measure and mark aluminum parts with my calipers. The marks come from the sharp tip of the caliper. Sure beats using a sharpie. So, my thought is that in cases I can't us the caliper sharp point I'll use this scribe. We'll see.
