Brief Description: F-705 BH - Seat Back - Bend 705K part 1.
Lets start the seat back recline adjustment hardware. The 705K needs a 4 degreee bend. Here I used a bunch of clamps to make a bending brake.
Basically you clamp the 705K inbetween 4 pieces of something. 2 pieces on either side of the bend line. I used 4 pieces of scrap aluminum. I'll be bending downward, so the aluminum pieces on the bottom has to have about 1/16" gap. One piece is on the bend line and the other is 1/16" away. With out this gap you can't bend, the brake with just bind up.
To get a crisp bend, clamp as close to the bend line as possible.
