Brief Description: F-705 BH - Slot 705G angle part 3.
Here are some pictures of the results of milling the slot in the 705G. Really happy how this turned out. Not sure how I would have done it without the metal lathe used as a mill. Slots are pricise and clean.
Image 2 shows a trim line on the bottom of the 705G. Also you need to taper one side of the 705G to match the 705F. Instead of measureing to mark the taper trim line from the plans, I clecoed the 705G in place and used the 705F to mark the line. Then used the belt sander until the mark was sanded off. Done.
Image 3 shows the 705G's done. All holes drilled, trimmed and polished with a scotch bright pad.
