Brief Description: Firewall - Rivet firewall. Part 2.
After the side and bottom stiffeners are squeezed it's time to do some back riveting. I left off the 4 engine mount brackets for now.
In the back ground you can se the back riveting plate sitting on top of a couple of thin boards to space the plate up to the same thickness as the 2x4 scraps.
Image 1 shows the layout of the 2x4 scraps that will be under the firewall. It pays to keep your scraps. You will have to back rivet both numer #30 and #40 rivets. I decided to do all the smaller #40 rivets first. All good, no bad rivets.
