Well, its time to rivet this sucker together. The plans have you build a small stand. I was thinking of not using one of these but it seems every one else used one. So, at the end I decided to build one. DIidn't take long to build.
Made from thick plywood. I screwed the two halves together so that I could cut them both at the same time. I made sure the bottoms were lined up so that when they sit on my flat level bench the V grooves will lined up and not add any twist. I used and and rib as a template. I used the radial arm and finished the intersection of the two cuts with the band saw. Clamped to the bench. I'm glad I made these. Flap fits perfect and secure.
