Brief Description:  Fix tip end of main spar to jig.

Here's how I fixed the main spar tip end to the jig.
7" length of 1.5" aluminum angle is bolted to the tip wing rib using 2, 3/16" bolts. The holes are drilled through the ribs web and through the aluminum angle. The bolt location is inbetween existing rivet holes on the leading edge rib flange.

Now. the reason I used 1.5" aluminum angle instead of the 1" as per the plans is because I wanted at least 0.5" stand off between the tip rib and the horizontal jig aluminum angle. You see, the skins will extend 0.5" outbound from the last rib, so I wanted the jig to be out of the way. Using 1.5" angle allowed me have this needed gap and still have enough overlap between the jig aluminum angle and the aluminum angle bolted to the tip rib for a secure jig.

You can see the digital level shows 0.0 degress. Love the turn buckles.
Makes fir easy adjustment.
