Now for the cut of the notches. I bet most builders used tin snips. I tried snips on some scrap and found I just could not avoid bending the flanges slightly. So, I used the band saw the same as I did when fabricating the F-703B angle. Over kill? Yep. No regrets though. I clamped the thin piece between 2x2's when using the sanding disk in my slow speed Matabo drill motor. Finished up with emery cloth and scotch bright pad.
