Brief Description: Roll Bar - Drill forward holes in 632A channel.
The forward end of the 632A does not come pre drilled from the factory and the plans do NOT call out hole location dimensions. And the build logs I follow don’t talk about these hole locations. Were these forward holes suppose to come pre drilled from the factory?
I just winged it. I may have drilled pre maturely. The plans call out the angle the roll bar slants aft and this 632A may have to be trimmed in length to achieve this 10 degree angle. I did not measure the angle before drilling these holes. Great, well if the length of this 632A needs to be trimmed in length I hope it’s a small amount so that the holes are still in an expectable location. We’ll see.
As usual, I match drilled these holes through an 1/8” piece of aluminum. I’m a match drill fool.
