Time to trim the F-721B aft canopy deck. About time. I used the band saw to make all the cuts. Worked out well.
If I had to do it again I would not cut the over all length until the roll bar is fitted. I don’t believe the drawing dimension for the length is correct. I believe it will be more then 1/8 inch short.
Also if I had to do it again I would not cut the part that has edges that match the square hole in the F-757 Gusset. The square hole in the gusset dictates the shape of some of this trimming. See DRG 25, F-757-T.
