Brief Description: Received / Installed NEW GNS430w
Completed my Phase 1 (40 hr) test flying. Everything went well, with only minor adjustments. Received my NEW GNS430w and began the installation process. The aircraft was pre-wired for the GNS during construction by the local avionics shop in Lakeland, FL. Fabricated the network cable required to interface the GNS with the Skyview. The aircraft was also pre-wired for the ARINC 429 interface.
Everything is looking good at this time.
The Second Skyview D1000 is planned for installation in December. Along with the second ADHARS system.
