Stopped by the airport at lunch, specifically MAC's Avionics... They fixed me up with a GNS430w Tray, and quote for the harness. Not cheap! But better than Gulfcoast Avionics and much easier to work with... GCA is not much for the little guy I guess... I called them 3 or 4 times stopped by a couple of times to help me out... with no luck, cold shoulder if you are not willing to spend $50,000 bucks.
Anyway... I have the tray in hand and have it mounted with the other trays now. Just need to get it fitted in the aircraft.
Tested everything on the bench, lots of folks coming in overhead for Sun n Fun...
Note: MAC's should have the GNS430 harness ready in a week or so... Sun n Fun tends to slow things down. No problem, perfect timing for me.
