I temporarily connected the control grip to the trim circuit. Tested the elevator / aileron trim servos, everything tested successfully. I measured the control stick while sitting in the Pilot's seat and made it just the way I wanted it. I cut 8" off the stock stick and installed the Tosten grip. This added about 6" back to the stick. Temporarily mounted it in the plane. It is very comfortable and has everything I need.
Excuse all the wires... but that's just the way is at this point in the build... I try not to think of everything that is going on in the build... set small goals each day and go to bed happy... one wire at a time...
