Worked on the Oil Door this evening... I decided not to do anything special at this point with the oil door. The only thing I did is replace the 2600-3W wing fasteners with a Flush Phillips head 1/4 turn CAMLOC fastener. I began by measuring the cut out via DWG 45. Cut the opening via high speed, and used the cut out to re-inforce the oil door. Bonded and riveted the two pieces and temporarily installed it on the cowling to make sure everything contours and hardens in the correct shape. Primed the oil door inside and out.
