Fabricate the T-405 tank attach angle and pre drill with the rivet holes per DWG 16A.e
I included a few more photos to show how I accomplished the fabrication of the right wing attachment angle. I drilled a series of holes, outlining the contour. Used the band saw to cut hole to hole. Then followed it by my bend grinder and scotchbrite wheel.
It worked for me... and turned out vey nicely. These are the time I wish I had a heavy duty band saw. But for the most part I am satisfied with the results.
I continued the same technique for the other flange... The T-405 for the right wing is complete. The whole process took about 1 hour to complete the T-405 attachment angle.
I will be installing a flop pick up tube in both tanks.
