Brief Description:  Left Full Tank

Complete any remaining rib preparation details. Bend flanges 90 and flute ribs. Use a square to check the flanges anda straight edge and/or skin to check the ribs for rivet hole alignment.

Make all T-711 A through D stiffeners as shown on DWG 16A. Round all stiffener corners, deburr edges, then cleco and final drill them to the T-701 skin.

Cleco the tank skin to the baffle (still fastened to the spar) and the wing spar. The fit between the spar, baffle, tank skin and leading edge should be perfect. If not, elongate the holes in the baffle inboard or outboard as necessary to allow the baffle holes to align with the T-701 holes when T-701 is clecoed to the spar.

Fabricated the left tank stiffeners.
beburred the ribs and flutted as necassary...
straightened the flanges.
Installed the skin on left wing and adjusted the baffle to skin and leading edge.
removed tank skin and installed all the ribs.
Installed left wing tank assemby on the wing, drilled to size #19 tank to leading edge.

Leak tested the right wing tank... over night... checking about every couple of hours through the evening. Funny thing is... I would come out andd the ballon was actually bigger??? I thought maybe the balloon was stretching a bit, or the change in temp as the afternoon and evening progressed. But, when I got up this morning the ballon was still inflated with no noticable reduction in size... I will call the right tank tested and complete.
