I began to rivet the re-inforcement fork to the assembly using -6 rivet. My pneumatic rivet squeezer would not set the rivet fully. Checked air pressure (90 psi) I tested the squeezer on a -4 rivet and it set it fully with no issues. I knew that when I tried to the set the -6 rivet the squeezer was not reaching the secondary cam, where all the setting force is achieved.
Of course I was a bit puzzled, I checked the gap settings, and tried a number of different configuations. Still no luck. I went ahead and bucked 3 rivets and stopped. I was getting fustrasted, and when that happens it is best to call it a night.
