Brief Description: Started Riveting Rear Spar Doublers
Studied the plans and marked the rivet holes that are to be completed with rib assembly. We squeezed all the -4 rivets required at this time. There are only a few rivets required at this point in the assembly. As you can see I have not final drilled the #40 skin holes yet. I plan on drilling and dimpling these parts as one. I did this technique on some of the empennage and it seemed to work perfectly.
