Brief Description:  Dynon ADHARS

I took delivery of my Dynon ADHARS yesterday.
I installed it in my system and began the auto-pilot system testing.
Discovered, updated firmware, calibrated, and to my delight the Pitch Servo tested successfully.
The Roll servo is dead and will need to be RMA'd.

Long story short, The ADHARS is required to be installed in the system to "Ground" Test your A/P.

I asked Dynon this question in December when I first received my Skyview D1000 panel.
Is the ADHARS required for A/P "Ground" testing? I received no responses to my posts or emails directly to Dynon Support. If this question would have been answered 6 weeks ago, it would have saved a ton of aggravation and needless trouble-shooting.

If they didn't know the specific answer, it woulf have been a 5 min process to remove the ADHARS from their test system, discover and run the ground test without the ADHARS and they would have duplicated the issue... I guess I caught them on a bad day before Christmas and paid the price.

I am a Computer Engineer by trade... so trouble-shooting is basically my life.

Positve Note: Sensenich emailed me today and said the "New" composite ground adjustable prop for the O-360 will be in production in the next 3 to 6 months. Perfect timing for me. I will be ready for my prop in June. Hopefully they will have one at Sun n Fun to look over.
