Brief Description: Riveting the Longeron to Side Skin
Completed the riveting of the longerons. A few of them... I just could not get the bucking bar in position to do a quality job. I oversized the holes and pull a CherryMax (CR3212-4-4) which meets the structural requirements.
I have seen builders sacrafice quality to drive a solid rivet at all costs... instead of using an equivalent CherryMax rivet. So, don't be afraid or discouraged in using a CherryMax rivet when quality is in question. Just make sure to check edge distance and structure requirements.
