Basically ran over to the tool shop to get my torque wrench checked out. I am lucky that there are other folks like me, work all the time. Anyway the torque wrench was right on, with a 1/4 ft lb... at 25 to 75 ft lbs range.
I went to work on the connecting rods... torqued to 480 in. lbs. (40 ft. lbs) per Lycoming pg 7-14 Sec 7-68/69 - Torque Limits Table 1-37 Ref 900 Type S Checked side clearances at .008-.010... Table of Limits 1-2 Ref 502, within new limits.
Then I installed the required plugs in the case... Cleaned, inspected oil passages. Applied sealant to plug threads and torqued to 40 in. lbs. Per Lycoming Torgue Table II Pg. 1-37.
