Rob has a personality that shuns and abhores disorganization. This can be seen in his hangar and his home workshop. He has offered more than once to organize my hardware and stuff in the shop. I am more of a clutter and organize guy. I allow the shop to get cluttered and then get a hankerin and clean it and organize it back into shape.
Same with my hardware and parts. It is placed in locations where it is known what the general area of it's location is...but in the stacks of clutter I usually know where to locate what I need. My brain works on the assumption that time to organize is time not getting further completion on the project.....so it is a priority of progress over clutter. Organization doesn't get the project done (although I KNOW that it helps in the process....easier to find partsd....I get it!) but it is progress that keeps me motivated....not organization. I know Rob's organize gene has to shut down when he comes to assist me and I appreciate that he is able to function....he even knows what piles I keep many of my tools and stock located.
Anyway....due to the fact that I was treating parts with black oxide and working on parts for the exhaust hangers....he began tackling organizing my bench stock of hardware items and did a FANTASTIC job of organizing hardware and getting things decluttered and battling adel clamps in between as well as riveting and installing nutplates!!!
