Brief Description:  Move Wings to Hangar

Well.....Rob had some time in the afternoon and offered to help after he came back from a DC trip to the White House from hobnobbing with folks. As an extra bonus my oldest son Kevin and his wife Angela were at the house for four days so the extra hands of Kevin will be a big help!

When Rob arrived in the afternoon the rain hadn't arrived yet and I had the trailer hooked up and ready to go. We decided that the best way to transport the wings would be in the dolly. So the loading process would be to take the wings out of the cradle and set them on the soft grass.

We then loaded the dolly into the trailer and put the wings back in the cradle. Three people really made it a breeze.....the difficulty factor would have been multiplied quite a bit with only two. With the wings in we used my supply of strap tie downs to secure the cradle to the trailer so it wouldn't budge.

We took it slow to the airport...especially down the driveway and my back roads that are not in the best shape. When we got to the hangar we reversed the process, setting the wings on the concrete on moving blankets and foam. We put the wheels on the cradle and set the wings in them.....flawless operation!!

Thanks to Rob and Kevin for the assistance!!!
