Brief Description:  Cowl fitting, Baffle Seals, and Mixture Cable

I came back from NC visiting Mom for Christmas. She had been in the hospital with an infection for a few days and had been released to continue some medication at home. With my nurse practitioner sister down there with her we all have peace of mind that Mom is in good hands. but I wanted to go down and check in on her.

Upon my return it was fulfilling a promise of cleaning out the hangar for my neighbor whose husband lost his life in an airplane accident at our local airport while practicing instrument approaches in actual weather. So I took a good part of two days getting it cleaned so she wouldn't have to pay another months rent come Jan 1st.

Rob came to his nearby hangar as he was trying to hope for weather for a trip to Georgia...but that didn't happen. He helped me to move some of the items to my hangar that I am going to try to sell for the widow and empty a heavy trash can....as always Rob is always quick to lend a helping hand!!!

This finally led to a log entry as Rob said he could come over for a bit and work on the project....so we left the airport for the house. We decided on getting the cowl looked at and working on the fit. All in all it fit pretty well and we drilled the holes for the inlet screws and trimmed some baffle material to get the fit. Took a bit of fussin and fiddling but it seems to be in good shape now!
