Brief Description:  Painted removable interior parts

Well another long day, this painting stuff sure takes time. I had to set up the garage for painting by running a double fan in one bay and my paint booth in the other. The exhaust fan let me pull arm air from the house to keep the garage warmer than normal. I had lots of parts to scuff and clean so I did that first. Then I started painting all of the interior parts stating with the silver for the baggage areas and the aft part of the rear seatback. It took a long time but it turned out well, let’s hope it is tough and does not chip on me in the future. So far it seems like a durable finish. I still need to do the aft floors hence the picture with no floors. I have to rivet the foot wells to the front floor and there are stiffeners for the rear floor still to be installed. I have to review my plans; I think the rear floor stiffeners are to be installed once the floor is in place at least that is what I remember. I must say I am pleased with how it turned out. I just set the parts in place for the photo, since it is fresh paint I did not want to screw or cleco anything in place, I just could not wait to see how it was going to look.
