What a great day! Today was the first day I powered up the instrument panel. I took care of some loose ends wiring wise early in the day but tonight I racked all the instruments and turned them on. I did each one, one at a time. At first I thought my 430W was dead, it did not come on as I racked it according to the instructions. I pulled it to make sure I did not have broken or bent pin, then it dawned on me, I only pushed in the COM circuit breaker, I pushed in the NAV breaker and it worked.
There are many mile stones in an airplane build and turning on the instruments is one of the big events. Now I have to update all the units to the latest firmware and configure things.
