Brief Description:  Grounds and DSAB

I had another long day in the shop. I started by completing the last of the CBs, they all have wire attached now. I then lace tied everything up and anchored the vertical runs to the side of the fuselage.

I pulled the shielded cable for the headset and microphone jacks, this took a bit of time, the shielded cable is thick and it had to go through an “S” bend is some corregated conduit. I will solder the jacks up later.

After running some errands I came back and pinned all of the instrument panel grounds as well as the large wire grounds at the firewall, these are for the radios. This took some time because I did not think to label the grounds beforehand, I had to use a meter and trace which ground wire went to which box. I eventually sorted it all out.

Next I pinned the DSAB wires, this make the network that allows all of the Dynon units to talk to one another. After pinning the DSAB wires wrong I corrected it and called it a day. I even had a label, “green” on top “blue” on the bottom row, tired I guess. Soon there will be power to everything. Yippee!
