Brief Description:  Fixed broken wire, tied more wire!

I spent most of the day at the NW Aviation Trade show which is held each February. I picked up a handheld radio that I have been meaning to get, I want to listen to the traffic when working in the hanger and it will allow communication with a ground team which I will have for the first flight. It will also fly with me as a survival radio if I ever have the bad luck to survive a crash in a remote area.

Back in the shop I cut and re-pinned the 4 wire shielded cable that goes to the remote compass. I then pulled the same wires from the D180 DB25 connector, these pin removed nice and easy like normal. Not sure what the difference is but the one I had trouble with was silver in color and this one is gold. My guess is the difficult one was made with the holes ever so slightly small.

I then hung the various connectors with safety wire so they reached about where they would be if pulling the component out. This allowed me to tie up the wire bundles and finally organize the remaining wires. After this is done I can get the main panel installed. I still have a lot more organizing to go but his is a start
