Brief Description:  DRILLED FINGER!!

Well I had a really bad day in the shop today. Yesterday when working in the shop and testing another circuit I got a little smoke when the master switch was turned on, today I investigated and it turns out I burned up the $50 dimmer switch for my LED strip lights. Then to top things off I was drilling a hole for a nut plate when I drilled into my finger I ended up going to the emergency room. I luckily did not hit they bone and there was no aluminum shaving in my finger but I did end up with a couple of stitches. The entire end of my finger was a pocket, I watched as the doctor swapped the inside with a large cotton tipped dowel. When I returned home I saw my meat still on the drill bit, man did that hurt!! It is time for a break.

NOTE: Kudos to Robert of Britta Products (www.PilotLights.net), I emailed to ask if there was a way to repair the dimmer and there was not, but he offered me a new one at whole sale, I paid via PayPal and it will be sent out Monday, you have to love customer service like that.
