Brief Description:  More canopy frame fitting

As usual with the tough parts of the build I tend to procrastinate and over think thinks. I am no keen on cutting the canopy just yet. I spent some time looking at the plans and the canopy frame fit. I think I have too large a gap at the front of the canopy but there is no dimension given in the plans. I can muscle the canopy another ¼” closer, this seats the hook pin at the rear of the canopy snuggly in the block. I took the closing latch to test fit it and this too seemed no to work. I decided to call it a day and call Van’s on Monday.

I am starting to think I might move onto something else and sleep on the canopy another month. The problem is the electrical is the part I want to move to next and I really should cut the canopy first so I have easy access to vacuum out the Plexiglas dust; I really don’t want to work around a bunch of wires. Maybe my call to Van’s in the morning will shed some new light on my saturation.
