Brief Description:  Rear Track done

This is the first day of work on the project since New Years. I have been on the road since January 1st, it was not all work I did go visit Mom and Dad for two day which was nice, except I was ready for that warm Florida weather and was met with low in the thirties.

The first day did not last long, I drilled the rear track for the screws that will hold it in place on the fuselage and the machine countersunk the holes. After the rear track was fastened on I cut the side rails to size, only I cut the wrong end. The instructions on the part of the project are still the old style and they basically tell you nothing, you refer to the plans. Well in looking at the plans it gives the total length for the rails and then gives a dimension for the aft part of the rail be cut at an angle to match slant of the aft bulkhead. After I made my cut to length I realized the rails came with the aft angle cut, I cut this end off! I could have made the angle cut myself and fixed the fact I cut off the nice factory end but after seeing that the rails are only $15 each I decided to order new ones.
