Today I shifted gears and started to work on the purge return line for the fuel injection system. At shut down a small bit of fuel is left and will be returned to the tank. Air Flow Performance calls for the return line to tap into one of the tank feed lines before the fuel selector. I wanted to get this line in before doing anymore electrical work since I may be running electrical lines on that side and I want to know the location of all the lines that carry fuel. I want to tap into the left fuel line because the right one is very complicated and difficult to remove. The F-Tee fitting I bought from Van’s is not working out because it sits down too low. I quit for now, I have to come up with some other idea. Oddly enough the right line might be the better choice but I really don’t want to remove it to make the changes to tap into it.
