Brief Description:  Instument sub panels clecoed top skin

I moved onto getting the front top skin fitted. I decided it was better to do all of the drilling and fitting of this skin before I started to run all of the wires in the cockpit area. I figure it will be easier to vacuum up the shavings without wires in the way. To get started I had to finish up the L/R sub panels, I drilled the holes for switches and the mounting holes for the G-meter. When that was done I riveted nut plates to the sub panels and then the flange to the sub panels. I attached the instrument panel with clecoes. My instrument panel is being cut out at John Starks place but I have a spare I bought so I could continue this work. You have to screw in the panel one hole down when you fit the top skin. After the top skin goes in you prepare and cleco the baggage door hinge support in place. This is where I left things since I have to go to work for 8 days. I like days when I get to rivet, my entire panel rivets turned out really nice, one of my better countersinking jobs.
