Brief Description:  Rear Throttle continued

Well back to the rear throttle, this sure seems to be taking a lot of time! I continued to rough in the holes for the front and rear throttle linkage. Once it was close I had to make the linkage rod. This amounted to cutting the aluminum tube and tapping the ends to take the threaded bearings. I then did a test fit, marked interference locations and then trim then test fit then trim then test, get the picture. Well it is finally done, I still need to refine and smooth out some of the holes. I also need to bend the lever inboard according to the plans. This I am waiting on since I may redesign the handle. I have flown in and RV8 in the back seat where my knee was very close to the throttle handle. I am thinking I might design some type of handle that flips out when needed, that way I would not need the bend inboard on the handle and it would not interfere with the passenger.
