Brief Description:  Rear Throttle rod holes

Well I am not getting much done even though I have been home a fair number of days. I have been fighting another cold which my little nephew gave me, so that does not help. It has been super cold and we have gotten lots of snow which is unusual. I have lost my mojo I think, but I don’t need to spend more money now anyways. Tonight was more work on the rear seat throttle. I cut out and taped all of the templates to mark the holes that the rod that connects the front and rear levers will pass though. I then pulled a string between the two holes in the levers that the rod will attach to. The front template holes seem off. I spent most of the 1.5 hours I worked to night looking and re-measuring things. I decided to give a shout out to VAF to see if the template were off for anyone else. I am using the deluxe throttle and I think the plans are set up for another throttle set. I did get confirmation from VAF that I will need to adjust the holes from the templates to match my throttle quadrant.

Another small issue is my QB kit has a hole already opened up for manual trim. You can see in the photo how close the throttle rod hole is to this hole, I figure worse case if it gets too close I will put in a doubler over the trim hole I do not need. I am not sure why they just don't drill a small hole to mark the location for the manual trim hole, that way if you don't need it you just leave the hole small.
