I continued with the flap weld mount installation. With the blocks installed on the weld mount the thing is too wide and the aft holes in the flap blocks do not line up with the hole in the floor. I trimmed more from the outer edge at first before I realized the blocks were not going deep enough over the weld mount due to the weld on the weld mount. I took a box knife and beveled the inside of the hole in the flap block and this allowed things to snug up tighter and now I can get both aft holes bolted into place. Now I have a problem with the forward holes. I am supposed to use the flap block as a guide and drill the forward holes but it will not have edge distance in the logeron below. I will have to look this over when I get back from my next trip and try to find out what is up.
