I deiced on rivets for the inspection plates, after riveting them on with pop rivets I test fit both, I like the way they turned out, we will see how they last.
The factory leaves the bottom two holes in the stab attach bar open I think this is so a fuselage can be used for either tail wheel or tricycle gear configurations. Well I have to fill these holes with rivets since I don’t have a tail wheel. There is just enough room to get a rivet gun and my arm in there to set these rivets.
If you can’t tell I am already starting the process of assembly from the inside out. Once the wings are on I will begin in the middle of the airplane and inspect clean and install all the parts. This thing should really look like a plane soon!
