Well I did not get much done even with my renewed effort. I had to pick up some supplies for the fiberglass work and I ended up going all over town to find what I needed, I left at 11 am and did not get back home until nearly 4 pm, it was even later before I did any work.
My fuel line check valve came in the mail but before I could install it I had to re-install all of the fuel lines, I needed everything in alignment to fit the valve. I decided to install the valve inline, I had a coupler in the purge return line already so installed the valve in its place and then adjusted the bend in the forward line till it all lined up.
It is fairly secure but I did not like the support I had with the fuel line next to the purge line ( double cushion clamp) so I made a rough bracket to support the check valve which will in turn support the purge line. Being happy with the shape I spent the evening drawing up a template I will use tomorrow to make the final bracket.
Support bracket will rivet to floor under check valve and then valve will be clamped to the bracket
