Brief Description:  2. Paint NACA vent and air vent cover

I knew I was going to be out to dinner and effectively done for the day so I prepared and painted the NACA vent area. I also drilled the holes in the air vent bracket for the control cables for the purge valve and the cabin heat. From a human factors stand point this is not the best design but the cables have different knob shops and are different colors and the purge valve is a push to unlock in order to move the cable, all of these features I hope will mitigate pulling the wrong cable. The purge cable is lowest so if reaching down to pull on the cabin heat it will be even less likely to pull the purge cable instead. Pulling the wrong cable is no big deal unless it is the purge valve in flight, the engine quits then, of course just pushing it back in and the engine will start right up.

After this was done I also painted the air vent cover and the rear throttle connecting rod. The unpainted connecting rod kind of stood out against the dark grey cockpit. I will install these tomorrow and I can then finalize the cabin heat hook up.
