Brief Description: Re-worked counterweight with wrong holes
After conferring with Van's I determined that it was OK to melt some lead and fill in my bad hole and then re-drill new ones. This went way smoother than I thought. I did not want to buy a cast iron fry pan which I have heard works well, so I ended up buying a cheap camp cup. I used my backpacking stove and it only took a couple of minutes to melt the lead. Down the holes it went. They are filled all the way through the top did not totally fill in but good enough. Smoothing with the file and drilling new holes and I am back in business.
