Brief Description: Dimpled right and left HS ribs and spars
I stole some more time today to work on the plane. I dimpled the remaining skin and ribs. I spent the last few days getting quotes for a new roof, there goes the money for my panel, oh well I figure I have enough to do before I need to start buying toys for the panel. What more can I say about dimpling, very benign, especially with the DRDT and a pneumatic squeezer. I can’t imagine sitting here whacking a steel rod with a mallet for each dimple or using a hand squeezer. For those considering the build buy what you can afford but these two tools would be at the top of my wish list. I figure when I am done I can sell these two tools, if I wanted and end up paying less than if I bought a C-frame dimplier and a good hand squeezer. I certainly will not have ended up paying more.
