I purchased a practice project along with the Vans Toolchest when I picked up my kit. Here is a picture of the first part. Essentially you rivet a sheet to some angle and then rivet two sheets together. It calls for various types and sizes of rivets. Even if you don't mess up I recommend drilling out a few rivets for the practice. The second picture is one of my whoops rivets. Note the smile on the skin next to the rivet. This is actually my second try with this practice kit. I did not know it when I bought the kit, but this is the same project they use in the "Fundamentals" class at Synergy Inc. So no excuse for the mistake, except in class I had a bucking partner.
