After some more info online and sleeping on it overnight I came in and knocked out the prop safety wire in 45 minutes!
Next project is the oil door. I am using the hidden hinge and lathes. After making some guide marks I drilled for the hinge then the latches. I had to make a little pattern to mark the location for the latches. I am now ready to epoxy the hinge parts in place.
