Well here I am again 10 days behind in log entries, but here goes. Today was test fuel system day. I put 5 gallons into the left tank and installed a hose to the firewall fitting so as to run the fuel through the system but before the engine driven fuel pump. The fuel pressure came up in the 15-20 seconds the manual said it should and pumped just fine. I did learn that 5 gallons was a bit over kill so for the right tank I only pumped 2 gallons through.
The next step was to hook everything back up and to do the leak check. You run the pump with the purge valve in the closed or cutoff position. I had not leaks but my fuel pressure was only 11 psi, the manual does not give any fuel pressure or flow numbers so I will have to ask around to see what I should be seeing.
