Brief Description: Tail fairing final fit / gas tank flush
I finished up the tail fairing, I one hiccup when I found one hole that I riveted but there was not nut plate there, drilled out the rivets and redid with the nut plate this time then installed the fairing again!
I pulled the plane out and flushed 5 gallons of car gas through the tank. I had a barb fitting in the tank train and used an extra can to catch what I put in. Original plan was to fill the tank with the drain hose pinched off but the hose would not hold back the fuel so I just let it drain out as I poured. I filtered what came out and there was only a few miner bits the size of grains of sand.
