I still had not tightened up the B-leads on the alternators so I did that and then did a functional check of the Main and Standby alternators, they check out good but I can only check the power output with the engine running so the final check will be then.
I secured some wire at the top of the engine and wrapped my mixture cable with some insulation and silicone tape. The heat tends to make the interior of the cable deform and they get stiff and difficult to operate or at least that is what I have read so I am trying the insulation to help mitigate the chance this happens to me. The mixture is especially important since it get close the exhaust pipe. I also installed the engine fuel pump drain tube.
