I started today working on the FAB; I sanded then shot a light coat of primer. I was intending just to prime only but there were a fair number of pin holes. This needs to be somewhat sealed since fuel may pool here even thought there are drain holes. I thought I would fill with some Evercoat (Bondo type stuff) Well I put it on way too thick so I decided to sand it all off and refill with epoxy and filler. I should have done this in the first place but tried to do what I thought would be a quick route, of course I ended up spending more time doing this.
I finished riveting the front baffle and then installed the entire baffle without the star washers since I am not sure if it might have to come off again. The hole they have you drill for the prop oil line to go though does not have the oil line centered in the opening. I had to trim the grommet so that the grommet would go in the hole. I will have to fill the open area in the grommet with RTV when I seal things up for good.
