Brief Description: Primed tips hooked up tail light
I made an earlier start today since it will be hot again. I managed to sand all of the tail fiberglass parts and apply clear resin; they should be ready for primer by this evening with the warm temperatures.
I pinned the Molex connector for the tail light then after hooking up the batter tested the light out, it all worked fine. I also tested the flap motor, I had fit it’s connector a few days ago but still need to check it out.
The last thing before the heat drove me home was I hooked up the two eyeball lights in the F804 spar caps and tested. These lights are hooked up to the hot battery buss and will not need the master on to operate. They are basically a courtesy light, but I will have to watch out because if they are on in the day they are hard to see and even a low draw LED light will eventually drain the battery.
